Iranian Power of Attorney

If you are interested in giving someone a Power of Attorney (POA) in Iran for performing a certain task on your behalf, you must be careful of the way you write your POA.  It is very important to focus on specific tasks and if not necessary, do not provide a general power of attorney.

If you expect to receive funds from a sale or any transaction, this matter should be mentioned in the POA with specific instructions. Our office in Tehran can guide you as to how you can draft such document so you can rest assured to minimize you risk as much as possible.

Step1:  Register with Iranian Foreign Ministry Office (Learn more)

Step 2: You will receive an email with the POA document from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (May take up to 5 days to receive an email)

Step 3: We will help you draft the POA

Step 4: We will secure an appointment for a video conference with the Office of Iranian Affairs in Washington, DC or you may visit in person, to verify you identity and submit your POA for approval.

Step 5: We will handle all necessary logistic and mailing with the Office of Iranian Affairs

Finally, you will receive your documents by mail
